New Grains Gluten Free Bakery Review

Thanks to the good people at New Grains I got to try many samples, and I would love to review a few of them today, as they have many great products!

What I love about this place is they are a dedicated gluten free factory.  Here is a blurb from their website

Last night I tried the hamburger bun with my turkey burger, it was delicious, moist right out of the package, honestly the best gluten free bun I have tried yet.  It was the perfect size for my generous burger also.

 I also had to try the chocolate chip cookie of course, that caught my eye right away.  My son and I enjoyed them very much.  We also tried the sugar cookie, this was my favorite, it was so soft a melt in your mouth type of cookie, yummy!  It is topped with frosting. 

They carry a wide variety of items including English muffins.  All the breads are gluten and dairy free, yeah!

Rosemary Gluten Free Crackers

I came across this recipe on Elana's Pantry, and I thought I would give it a try.  To my surprise, they came out wonderful, just the rice crisp and great for dipping with guacamole or your favorite dip. 

This recipe is actually easy and requires almond flour.  Now I dont have to go out and buy crackers.

Feel Good Foods Dumplings Review

It took me a while to find these. I finally found them in the gluten free section at Woodmans, I was so excited as I miss dumplings and egg rolls.  They carry both , this review is for the chicken dumplings.

I love that they are all natural . I thought they wouldnt be filling as a dinner, but I was wrong, there is 8 in a box and I ate 5 and was satisfied, it also comes with a gluten free soy sauce.  One word DELICIOUS.  I did see some reviews that said they were soggy, you just have to be sure to cook them right, and they came out perfect for me.

Be expected to pay a bit, this box of 8 cost just over 6 dollars, but the egg rolls were half the price.  There is a coupon for 25 cents off online.

Chicken Dumplings

We use free range, all natural chicken. The chicken filling is packed with flavors of cilantro, garlic and ginger. It is great as an appetizer but because the filling is so generous in size we think it could be a great meal too!
