I had a great meal at Red Robin in Gurnee Illinois yesterday. They provided me with gluten free fries made in a dedicated fryer, my turkey burger came out in a special yellow basket, and it even had a gluten free bun! I was so excited, if you ask its unlimited fries too, had to enjoy it, I rarely eat fries.
Make sure to give them a try, it is a bit of noisy atmosphere, so great place for kids, and I did see other yellow baskets, so very popular.
Here is a link to the menu, every location may be different.

Riega Foods Review
Thanks to the kind people at Riega Foods I was able to sample some of their great food.
From their website
A passion for food and a dedication to our customer's satisfaction. That is Riega Foods. Our products focus on dietary health with a special emphasis on gastro-intestinal health as manifested with gluten intolerance, diabetes and a fiber deficient diet.
They have a variety of cheese packs so you can make your own mac and cheese, yeah! We like the white cheddar and the flavor was good, I really enjoyed it, these are great to take along for trips too. I added some broccoli and had a meal.
There are four different flavors to try, I prefer the cheddar.
They also make three different crispbreads which are dairy, GMO, and gluten free. They suggest trying them with your favorite meat or cheeses.
I liked the chestnut flavor the best, and tried it with almond butter, a great midday snack.
They also carry buckwheat and quiona, these are 100 percent natural
I did see the cheese packets at my local grocery store
Here is the website to check more details and to find these near you
Enjoy!

A New Bread in Town
I have been hearing about a new bread called "Goodbye Gluten", I came across it in Metro Market this past week and had to try it. I actually grabbed another well known bread that was on sale for 5.49. and saw this later on the end cap for the same price. It was not in the freezer, fresh bread, yeah!
As soon as I got home I tried it with some almond butter, I have to say it was delicious, I got the multigrain one. It was moist and didnt fall apart. Since the bread lasts me a while I put it in the freezer a few days later to keep it fresh. I do have to say after toasting it did come apart a bit, so maybe better to warm in the microwave or out on the counter.
I was glad to try a new bread, here is some more information on it, it is one of my new favorites

Colby's Kettle Corn Review and Gift Certificates
Colby's has a variety of gluten free Kettle corn that is very tasty!
Including Butter Salt, Salty Sweet, Cinnamon Sugar, and Chili Cheese.
Yummy!
My favorite has to be the Salty Sweet, and second the Cinnamon Sugar. I also like that these two are Dairy Free and Gluten free.
My son prefers the Butter Salt Craving.
These come in a generous size bag at around at 4 dollars a bag.
A great snack for school lunches too.
A bit on the company:
No other company has the passion for quality like Colby's Kettle Corn. "To make a superior product, you cannot cut corners. No matter how large we get, we will always go through the extra time and expense to hand sift every batch. We will only use the very best ingredients, even if they cost 10 times more. Our personnel will always be the elite caliber that takes pride in their work. I will make certain we maintain stringent quality control, to ensure that every costumer that tries our product will never switch to another. People aren't going to purchase our product because we are the most affordable, or because they see a celebrity advertising it. They are going to purchase our product because they won't settle for anything but the very best!"
A good source of fiber and protein.
The product is available online or possibly at a store near you, check online, you can also get a coupon off the website for first orders.

I also have ten gift certificates to give away, so the first ten people to email me at deerezpets@att.net with name and address will receive a 15 dollar coupon, dont delay!

What Ingredients make it Paleo
Our ancestors had the secret. They gathered nuts, seeds, berries,
fruits, spices and natural sweeteners - these ingredients inspired my
first line of Paleo diet snacks.
Putting it all together
I began to create my recipes and started the tasting experience in my
CrossFit Facility. Since The Paleo People launch date of March 2010
(formerly Paleo Women Snacks & Granolas), the testimonials kept
pouring in on how tasty all the flavors were. You can purchase online
now!! I am also working with food brokers to bring the paleo granolas
into Natural Foods Stores across the USA. If there is a store you would
like to carry The Paleo People Brand, simply present it to the grocery
manager - every bit helps get Paleo out there!
Who Loves Paleo People Snacks?
Well, let me tell you a few ideas I have: Anyone who is looking for
wheat & gluten free paleo diet snacks, CrossFitters & Fitness
lovers, Celiacs, Vegetarians, Vegans, Hikers, Bikers, Golfers, Tennis

find a store near you. More stores to come... If purchasing online, I am
providing all CrossFit Affiliates, Military, Law Enforcement &

Crunchmaster Crackers
Crunchmaster crackers are a nice cracker with a good crunch. I was lucky to try the Roasted Vegetable MultiGrain and the Cheddar Multigrain.
These are great for a mid afternoon snack, or when the snack craving hits you. The Roasted Vegetable has a nice spice to it. You can pair these up with cheese or dip, I like to eat them right out of the bag. The bag seals for freshness so good for taking to work, or on the go.
A little of whats in the crackers.
It's not so much what's inside our crackers as what's not inside. At Crunchmaster, we believe in keeping our products simple and real. We don’t put in any artificial flavors, preservatives or other icky stuff.
Our products are only made with all natural ingredients like pure, California grown rice, sesame, quinoa, amaranth and flax seeds.
I also tried the multigrain crisps which come in a box. I put almond butter on, the perfect treat for a late night snack. These are vegan and dairy free.
Go to http://www.crunchmaster.com/home.aspx for printable coupons or more information on these great healthy snacks. Try some today

Monical's Pizza Arbor Vitae, WI (near Minocqua) Gluten Free Pizza
I was searching for a great place to get some gluten free food or a pizza while visiting the Minocqua area this past week. I was lucky enough to come across Monicals Pizza, a cute little place on the water. Keep in mind if you come at dinner time there will be a wait, in fact we had to come back the next day, as I had three restless kids that were hungry. We decided to come half an hour early the next day at 5, on a Friday and we were lucky to get one of the last tables. If you have older kids there is a game room area to wait in with a bar, just bring change.
Anyway asked the server if they had gluten free crusts in and thank goodnes they did. It was a 10 inch pizza, I ordered the veggie, which had onions, green peppers, mushrooms, green olives, black olives, and tomatoes. I skipped the hot peppers, the size was perfect, in fact I think I ate too much as I only left one piece. The crust was perfectly crisp, and tasted as good as any gluten pizza, a bit crisp on the ends, but overall I really enjoyed it. I would return again if in the area.
http://www.monicalspizza.com/Locations/detail.aspx?LocationId=4
I also stopped by a place called http://www.wildberrymarket.org/ . It was a nice little organic market with gluten free options like granola bars, udis bread, brownies, nuts, and so much more.
Another place I didnt get a change to try is http://www.hvfoodgallery.com/ . I have read good reviews on it for salads and lighter meals.
Enjoy!

Two Moms In The Raw Review
Thanks to these gracious people for letting me sample some of their terrific food.
Here is a bit of information on this company
Founded in 2006 by Shari and Marsha (daughter and mom team)…Two Moms in the Raw is a family-owned raw food manufacturer located in Boulder County Colorado. Very filling and delicious, and also good for you, great for travel, even though I am not a huge blueberry fan I really liked this bar, and it wasn't overwhelming at all, love the walnuts, pecans, and almonds combo.
My next favorite is the Cacao Truffles, Wow, these are delicious, come three in a pack, while I only ate two they were so good I could have eaten three of them. I love that this is all natural and organic, this made a good night time snack for me, when that craving hits you.
I also tried the Tomato Basil Sea Crackers, they have a great crunch to them, great for a mid day craving for something crunchy and satisfying. These were also great in soup, and I am going to try them in my salad next time instead of croutons, yummy!
They also make a granola that comes in bars in a bag. For information and how to get these items go to
