Dominoes Gluten Free Crust

Dear Friends,

There has recently been alot of press about Domino's new Gluten Free Pizza.  According to the company's statement, Domino's found that while the crust is certified as gluten-free, current store operations at Domino's cannot guarantee that each handcrafted pizza will be completely free from gluten. The Center for Celiac Research at the University of Maryland has been asked its position on the matter, and hopes to alleviate some confusion.

Dr. Alessio Fasano, M.D., Director, Center for Celiac Research at the University of Maryland published a paper on this topic on May 11, 2012.  Click here to read his findings and recommendations.

KIWA Vegetable Chips Gluten Free

Thanks to the great folks at Kiwa for letting me try samples of their great vegetable Chip mix.  These are wonderful, and I have to say my favorite one is the plantain in  the mix, then the green bananas.  I have never tried plantains before but love them!

These are a great snack for on the go, or upcoming barbeques, very crunchy!

Another plus is there is very few ingredients:

Exotic Vegetable Chips: Produced with Kosher-certified palm oil, our Chips have no additional ingredients or additives except for salt in the plantain chips
