Aldi's has a gluten free line now

Make sure to check it out before it goes away.  Not sure if it is staying or not.  I purchased gluten free pasta for only 1.98!  What a deal, they also have cookies, cake mixes, wraps(which I tried today, very soft and edible)  They also carry glutino pretzels for 3.99 and some items in the freezer case like small pizzas.

Target has Udi's...and more

I was excited to see Target now carries Udi's, they had bread and bagels.  After some searching in the store I also found gluten free noodles by Bi-Aglut, chicken tenders by Tyson, Amy's gluten free burritos, and also Canyon Bakehouse gluten free bread.  Jackpot!

Make sure to check out your local Target to see if they carry some of these items too.  I didn't have the chance to go down every aisle, so they may even have more.

Kinnikinnick Gluten Free Bagels

Thanks to the good folks at Kinnikinnick Foods I had the opportunity to try these great bagels.  I got to sample Blueberry, Plain, and Cinnamon Raisin, what a treat.

My favorite was the Cinnamon Raisin, just like I used to have years ago, it has a great taste.  I added Earth Balance, which is dairy and soy free butter with some honey, and it made a great treat.  This would be a wonderful breakfast item also.

Their motto is "Gluten Free Never Tasted So Good", and I agree.  They have a variety of foods, check out where you can find these delicious bagels and other items on their website.

California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen has brought back the gluten free pizza again, this time with stricter standards.  I opted to try the mushroom and pepperoni with sausage, although the pepperoni was missing, it was very good.  I also did not get cheese, the sauce was a little light, but the pizza was very good and as big as my husband's pizza which was great.  I actually got to take some home this time, and had no ill after effects.  It is around 2 dollars more than a regular pizza, so around 14 dollars I believe.

Going Gluten Free: Complete Reference and Recipe Guide Review

This Guide is Written by Shirley Baker and is a complete gluten free diet guide to get you started.

It includes great information, especially for those just starting out.  This book goes over how to go about testing, and all the different foods and ingredients you need to avoid, tips on eating out, and more.  Then it goes through all the different flours you can eat ( I didn't realize there were so many!) and it has some great recipes which include great recipes for the picky eaters like children and even some delicious smoothies, cant wait to try some. They are easy to follow and there are some great photos.  Vegan and Vegetarian recipes are also included.

A great source when you have been diagnosed and not sure what to do first, or even if you think you may have Celiac or an intolerance.  Then a great reference to follow afterwards.  You won't be disappointed in this book.

It is available for purchase on Amazon  Going Gluten Free   on the kindle for 4.99 or paperback for 12.32.

Stur Liquid Water Enhancers

Stur was generous enough to send me all six of their exciting flavors.  Stur is a liquid water enhancer that you pour right into your water.  The packs are small and convenient for travel, they also do not need refrigeration.

Here is a bit of their story from the website.
" I initially created Stur for my wife, so she could drink more water naturally while pregnant with our twin girls. We are a family-run company, passionate about better health. Our mission is to help millions of Americans drink more water, and we’re really proud of developing a good-tasting product without any artificial sweeteners, flavor or colors."

These products are all gluten free.  They are also free of artificial colors, flavor, and sweeteners.  Zero Sugar, and Zero Calories, yeah!  Stur also contains a blend of essential vitamins, including A, D, E, B3, B5, B6, B12.  Something we all need.

My two personal favorites are the Simply Strawberry and the Truly PomeCranberry, they seem to have the most flavor.  They are naturally flavored with Stevia with the exception of the Cucumber Mint, which is not sweetened, has a distinct taste, I could really taste the cucumber.

The 6 flavors are:
Honestly Lemonade
Purely Orange Mango
Simply Strawberry
Truly PomeCranberry
Proudly Tea Plus Lemon
Only Mint Cucumber Unsweetened
